Giant Cell Tumor of the Radius Treated by Massive Resection and Fibula Bone Graft

Kim Yong-Ju
Abstract
he distal and of the radius is one of the common sites affected. by giant cell tumor, of bone. Curettage, bone grafting, irradiation, resection with or without bone grafting, and amputation have all been used in the treatment of giant cell tumor¢¥. in that site, but with those regimens a 50% recurrence rate was reported. One case of giant cell tumor of the distal and of the radius was treated by massive resection and reconstruction using a auto graft taken from the fibula. There was no local recurrence of metastasis noted on follow up for one year. An excellent functional result was also achieved in our case
